Cloister Crushes Competition at DeNunzio Pool

On February 12th, with a win over

Columbia in their season's final duel meet, the Princeton Men's Swimming and Diving team finished once again with an undefeated regular season. The team is now looking for victory at the Ivy League Championship meet in early March to repeat as League Champions for the second season in a row. The Mens team's impressive 106-0 home dual meet winning streak is a continued salute to the graduated alums and remains a challenge to all those who come to compete at DeNunzio Pool. At home, the Tigers are perfect.

The Women's Swimming and Diving team is also upholding an undefeated season thus far. At every meet the women show unparalleled dominance in each event, and they are in great standing to win the Conference Championship at the end of February. Be sure to look for the women to further show why the Tigers are the best athletes in the Ivy League.

Last year, the Men's Swimming and Diving Team finished with an overall rank of 18 in national standings. The women finished

with an overall national rank of 19. Not bad for a school which doesn't offer athletic scholarships! Current Men's Team Captains Jon Hartmann, Chris Quemena, and Daniel Dickerson are all members of Cloister and will be leading the charge at the conference championship. Hartmann is a School record holder in multiple relay events, and Dickerson is looking to repeat his first place finishes in both the 1 Meter and 3 Meter diving events. Women's Team Captains Alicia Aemisegger and Courtney Kilkuts, also both Cloister members, have had their own individual successes as well. Kilkuts recently became the school record holder in the 100 Yard Breaststroke in addition to contributing to numerous first place finishes at every meet. Aemisegger holds nine school records and was recently voted as the Number One Princeton Athlete of the Decade!
