Clubhouse & Grounds Rentals

Cloister Inn is available for clubhouse and/or grounds rentals by members and alumni in good standing and sponsored events. Non-member/alumni functions require a member sponsor and are typically held when the University is not in session, although special arrangements may be made during the the academic year.

The Clubhouse is the ideal setting for: weddings, receptions, dinners, cocktail parties, showers, corporate functions and meetings, or even the perfect Murder Mystery party. As well as being a historic site, the Inn is the perfect location to host your special event.

Outdoor Space

Tents may be set-up on the courtyard, which provides additional space for your guests and protection from the weather.  Tents may also be set or on the large back lawn, which includes a beach volleyball courts and a half basketball court. 

The courtyard can accommodate a tent up to 30'x50'. The back lawn can accept a larger tent. The Dining Room seats up to 104 guests, and the adjacent Tap Room can set up to 30 guests. 

Seating may also be planned for the courtyard. It is possible to accommodate up to as many as 200 on the courtyard depending on the configuration.

All clubhouse rentals are required to use our in-house catering team or a Club designated caterer for food and beverage. Hosts may use another purveyor for the rental of linens, glassware, china, tables, chairs and the like.
